As a referral partner on Formsuite, you earn commissions when new customers subscribe to a paid plan using your referral link. This article explains how commissions and payouts work, their statuses, and when you can expect to be paid.
Formsuite uses a tiered commission structure based on your total number of conversions:
Once you reach 25 or more total conversions, the higher commission rate applies to all eligible commissions going forward. You can view your current tier and conversion count on your Referral dashboard.
When you receive a commission, it goes through the following statuses:
Commissions can also be updated to these statuses in certain cases:
If you have questions about a commission status, reach out to our support team.
Payouts go through the following statuses:
To receive payouts, you must connect your bank account via Stripe Connect from your Referral dashboard. Go to workspace Settings → Referrals and follow the "Connect payouts" flow once you have at least one sale.
Formsuite uses a 30-day holding period for earned commissions. During this period, your commissions stay in "pending" status and are not eligible for payout.
This is standard practice for security and fraud prevention, and to account for potential refunds or chargebacks from referred customers. Each commission becomes eligible for payout only after the full 30 days have elapsed from the date it was earned.
Payouts are processed monthly, typically at the beginning of each month. Eligible commissions from the previous month (those that have passed the 30-day holding period) are included in the payout. If you have questions about the exact payment schedule, contact our support team.
